All playhouses are made using 45mm x 45mm thick tanolised framing and good quality tanolised shiplap then treated with 2 coats of wood preservative. All playhouses from The Little Village Group have floors which are built using 50mm x 50mm tanolised bearers, a damp proof membrane and then a solid wood floor (except Play Den). All windows are glazed using a 5mm thick polycarbonate sheet. This is designed not to fade or shatter with time and is stronger than glass. All external areas of each playhouse are fully treated with 2 coats of wood preservative. Make your own selections from our colour charts. All children's garden playhouses built by The Little Village Group need to sit on a solid base (e.g. concrete / paving / tarmac). These can be provided at an additional cost from £45 per square metre.
