Installing an active play area in your school
encourages independence, and builds self esteem and confidence in children.
They will learn how to work and co-operate,
create and achieve, use seemingly limitless
energy, outdoors, and most of all have fun.
Initiatives, such as Fair Play for Children,
endorse action to prevent and reverse the
decrease in children's play areas. The
National Institute for Clinical Excellence
(NICE) recommends children should undertake at
least 60 minutes of physical activity a day.
The physical activity should be fun, healthy
and sociable. It should help develop
children's independence and motion, and can be
both formal and informal. Click on an image below to view the active play products.

By installing an
active play area in your school you can make
play and physical activity a daily part of the
routine and it will allow you to build new and
challenging activities for the children.
Children at school and in early years need
time and space to play. Little Village Group
builds areas for active play that are designed
to maximise the space you have available. The
photo albums above illustrate the play
structures that we can build, the activity
trails we have developed in outdoor spaces,
and how we imaginatively accessorise the play
areas to bring creativity and fun to the
area. Each project is unique in design,
construction, and pricing. However we do offer
reduced prices where products are supplied in
combination.
